    Today you will meet your Tour Escort and fellow travellers at Brisbane International Airport for your flights to New Delhi.

    On arrival at Delhi International Airport, we will be met by our Tour Director who will accompany us to the awaiting vehicle to take us to our hotel.

    Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before we depart this morning for a full day guided City Tour of Delhi visiting both Old & New Delhi.  

    Old Delhi was the capital of Muslim India between 17th and 19th century and has many mosques, monuments and forts. New Delhi, the imperial city was created by the British as the capital of India. 

    We will return to hotel this afternoon where there will be time to freshen up before meet for dinner.   Hotel – Justa Hotel

    New Delhi – Varanasi (B,D)

    After breakfast we are transferred to Delhi airport in time for our flight to Varanasi.

    Upon arrival in Varanasi, we will be transferred to the hotel. 

    In the afternoon we will be taken to visit Sarnath – the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon.

    In the evening we witness Ganga Aarti, a fire ceremony on the River Ganges.   Hotel – Buddha Hotel

    Varanasi (B,D)

    A very early start this morning sees us on a boat ride on the river Ganges for Sunrise. The visit will include the burning ghats among other ghats where people do their early morning chores. We will also be able to walk through the narrow lanes of Kashi.

    Returning to the hotel, we will have breakfast before we depart for a city sightseeing tour of Varanasi which will include Durga Temple and Bharat Mata Temple.

    The remainder of the day will be at leisure before we meet for dinner.  Hotel – Buddha Hotel

    Enjoy breakfast this morning before we set out for a sightseeing tour of Agra including the Taj Mahal – described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love and India’s most appreciated icon.

    We will also visit Agra Fort, another of Agra’s World Heritage sites, the local market and a marble factory where you can see the inlay work on marble as it was done for the construction of the Taj Mahal.

    Agra – Ranthambore  (B,D)

    After breakfast this morning we depart for Ranthambore.

    Enroute we visit Fatehphur Sikri, a majestic fort built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar when he wanted to move his head-quarters. Due to the lack of water the city had, it was later abandoned and the head-quarters returned to Agra.  

    Upon arrival at Ranthambore we will have time to freshen up before meeting for this evening’s dinner.  Hotel – Pugmark

    Today we enjoy a morning and late afternoon Jeep Safari into the park.  

    Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national park in Northern India. The park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, which is about 130km from Jaipur. Being considered as one of the famous and former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, today the Ranthambore National Park terrain is a major wildlife tourist attraction spot that has pulled the attention of many wildlife photographers and lover to this destination.  Hotel – Pugmark

    Today after breakfast, we make our way to Jaipur

    Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and is the first well planned city of India, located in the desert lands of India, Rajasthan. The city which once had been the capital of the royalty now is the capital city of Rajasthan. The very structure of Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajputs and the Royal Families. In the present date, Jaipur is the major business centre for the natives of Rajasthan with all requisites of a metropolitan city. 

    Upon arrival at the hotel we will check in and the afternoon is at leisure. 

    This evening we will enjoy the Festival of Lights. Diwali is a festival of lights symbolizing the victory of righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness.  The word “Deepwali” refers to rows of diyas, or clay lamps and one of the most popular festivals in the Hindu calendar. This festival commemorates Lord Rama’s return to his kingdom Ayodhya after completing his 14-year exile.  Hotel – Shahpura House

    This morning after breakfast we depart for a tour of Jaipur.

    Highlights of today will include the Amber Fort, Jaipur City, Hawa Mahal-Palace of Winds, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the City Palace Museum.

    And no tour of Jaipur is complete without shopping at the Bazaar known as a shopper’s paradise and famous for jewellery, handicraft, carpet, blue pottery and textiles.

    After an early breakfast to start to the day we begin our journey to Jodhpur

    Enroute we will be visiting Pushkar. The prime attraction of Pushkar is Pushkar Lake which is considered sacred. Pushkar has become a place of Hindu pilgrimage because of this holy lake. 

    We will also spend some time at Brahma Temple – the most important temple in Pushkar.

    Upon arrival in Jodphur we will check in at the hotel and meet in the evening for dinner. Hotel – Ratan Villas

    Jodhpur – Udaipur via Rankpur  (B,D)

    We will have breakfast at the hotel before depart for Udaipur

    First we enjoy a tour of Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort which lies at the outskirts of Jodhpur City and is located atop a 125m high hill. It is one of the most majestic and largest forts in India. Next we see the Jasawant Thada, and is an architectural landmark built in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. 

    After finishing the tour we continue on to Udaipur stopping in Ranakpur – famous for its Jain Temple.

    Upon arrival we check into the hotel and have the remainder of the day free to relax. We will meet early evening for dinner.  Hotel – Lake End

    This morning after breakfast at hotel we depart for a sightseeing tour of Udaipur – also known as the City of Lakes

    Highlights of today’s tour will include the City Palace on the east bank of Lake Pichola and Sahelion ki Bari – built for a group of 48 young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of her dowry. 

    Late afternoon enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and visit the Jag Mandir Palace. The palace, built of granite and marble, covers four acres and is almost in the middle of the lake. Visit the Borra Mahal, Khas Mahal and the courts, gardens and fountains.
