Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive Adelaide (D)

Today meet your Tour Manager in Adelaide.
On arrival, at the Adelaide Airport be greeted your friendly local coach captain and board your 5-star luxury touring coach. Transfer to centrally located accommodation and spend the remainder of the day exploring the city centre at your own pace. Don’t forget to find the famous Haigh’s Chocolates for some mouth-watering treats. This evening we will enjoy dinner at our hotel. Accommodation: Samford Adelaide or similar (2 nights)
Day 2 – Adelaide (B,D)
Today we tour through this beautiful city known as “The City of Churches”. Visit the Adelaide Royal Botanical Garden that features an exceptional Victorian garden landscape complemented by outstanding plant collections, cultural collections and garden buildings. Reboard the coach and tour through the historic Port Adelaide region then onto the picturesque seaside suburb of Glenelg. This afternoon take in the stunning panoramic views of Adelaide from the Mount Lofty lookout before travelling through the Adelaide Hills to the 1838 Prussian settlement of Hahndorf whose German heritage can still be seen in the architecture of its buildings and in the local cuisine. Spend some time exploring the myriad of café’s and specialty shops along the beautiful main street. Return to the hotel for dinner and a well-earned rest.
Day 3 – Adelaide – Kangaroo Island (B,L,D)

This morning journey through the Fleurieu Peninsula and enjoy lunch at “Bracegirdle’s House of Fine Chocolate”, at McLaren Vale. Later in the afternoon, travel to Cape Jervis and catch the 3pm ferry to Kangaroo Island. On arrival, travel to the Mercure Hotel at American River; settle into your accommodation then enjoy a complimentary drink and canapés before dinner. Accommodation: Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge or similar (3 nights)
Day 4 – Seal Bay/Raptor Domain/Flinders Chase (B,L,D)
This morning, it’s up early for a tour of Seal Bay. Located on the south coast of Kangaroo Island, it is the home of the third largest Australian sea lion colony in Australia. Gain an in-depth understanding into the area with a guided tour provided by a local ranger. Afterwards, we visit Birds of Prey at the Raptor Domain. Meet an array of birds including Jedda, the majestic wedge-tailed eagle. Enjoy a delightful interactive experience with Casper the friendly barn owl and Banjo and Clancy, the laughing kookaburras. In the afternoon, visit the Flinders Chase National Park with its “Remarkable Rocks” and “Admirals Arch”.
Day 5 – Emu Ridge/Cape Willoughby (B,L,D)
After breakfast, travel to the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery and enjoy a guided tour of the facility. Browse their gift shop which feature over 30 other local products. Travel to the far eastern side of the island and gain spectacular views from Cape Willoughby Conservation Park. Our guided tour will delve into the rich maritime history of South Australia’s first lighthouse. Enjoy lunch and a tasting at Dudley Wines whilst taking in the views back to the Australian mainland. Later this afternoon, catch the ferry back to Cape Jervis and travel to your overnight accommodation at Victor Harbor.
Day 6 – Victor Harbour (B,D)

A relaxed morning includes free shopping time in Victor Harbor and the horse drawn tram for a nostalgic ride to Granite Island. Enjoy lunch (own expense) in the town centre before travelling to the nearby village of Goolwa where you will board the historic paddle steamer “P.S. Oscar W”. for a cruise on the Murray River. Return to Victor Harbor with time to relax before dinner.
Day 7 – Depart Adelaide (B)
The coach takes us back to Adelaide today (via Sthrathalbyn) and we say farewell to South Australia as we head to Adelaide Airport for our flights home.
